Visual grading aids are the foundation for U.S. commodity inspection, providing an effective tool for aligning inspectors and assisting them in making proper and consistent subjective grading decisions. Deluxe visual grading aids consist of a series of commodity specific visual reference images and descriptive text which help reduce the impact of normal perceptional differences between inspectors. Grading Cards include the grading requirements table and the principle damage images. You have the option of adding your own text to the card. NOTE: The USDA discontinued sales of printed versions of their references to the public in 2019. The visual references available here are based on the public domain images and description published by the USDA on their website and used by their official inspectors.
